Oh, I’m already happy dancing with glee. What a great way to promote a book of stories! I can’t wait to find out the results. It’s almost like Christmas. Sort of, LOL. I’m dancing with anticipation!
Cheers!

I’d managed to put it out of my mind after I submitted but now it is all I can think of! Torture.

Hmmm… A bit of a power trip this.
There’s still time to get bribes in before the results are official.

When are you going to put us out of our misery?
Will the winners be notified via the blog or email?
Cheers

I was still waiting for bribes. Will do it on Friday morning. All winners will be emailed, those who didn’t make it, and announced on the site and blog.
Thanks

Does a packet of soft mints with only one missing count as a bribe?

I will offer a walnut whip, half a bar of dairy milk and a dalek.

I’d like to offer a photo of the cutest baby hedgehog EVER as my bribe. Or I could send Grumplestiltskin (N2Cat)round to purr for you. How about home made apple pie with a lovely flaky crust? Or homemade meringue with berries and fresh whipped cream? Homemade blackberry jelly? Pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream? Homemade strawberry or blackberry wine? Homemade blackberry whiskey? Several great novels lovingly read just the once? A Liberty bell (great for use when struck down with man flu)? Blackberry cobbler? Green tomato chutney (tastes a bit like Branston pickle)? No? *sigh* I’ll go now shall I? Byeeee…

A Dalek? Sounds good. And strawberry wine. We should do anthologies more often.
Been reading through the winning stories to familiarise myself with them again – some great stories in there. The main difficulty has been actually choosing stories to go in because of the quality of all submissions. Not just saying that either – I spoke to Caroline about this a few times because the collection could easily have been the size of the Bible. Shame we couldn’t get them all in.
ps – what’s a blackberry cobbler?

Blackberry Cobbler sounds like a Highwayman – Dick Turpin’s sidekick. He must also mend shoes to make ends meet.
Anyhow, just thought I’d pop over n I see the results are announced Friday. I agree with the ‘It’s torture’ comment above.
Regards to all.
Ps. Ever tried to type with your fingers crossed?
