EVEN MORE TONTO SHORT STORIES – THE RESULTS
ByCaroline wanted to be Simon Cowell… making me Sinitta. What can you do, eh? I’d have preferred to be Cheryl, but we’ll not go in to that now.
On with the results.
We received some amazing entries for this collection. I know how patronising it sounds to say we didn’t know which ones to pick because they were all so good – but that’s just how it was. We knew it was going to be difficult and not everyone can go in. As with all competition-based collections, we cannot go into reasons why you weren’t chosen this time round and hope that if you entered the competition, you are very pleased with the collection regardless. We appreciate your support and big thanks to everyone who took part.

Congratulations, one and all. Seeing a few names in there whose work I know, I’m certain this’ll be a really, really great collection.

I’m ecstatic!!!
Being a ‘newbie’ I really didn’t think this would happen to little old me. So food for thought for those that didn’t make it. I’ve not been making it for years!
Congrats to all involved. I’m feel honoured to be amongst the names above. A huge thanks to Stu and Caroline. I feel a drink coming on!
Regards to all,
Col

Likeways, I’m chuffed to be involved and to have had my story chosen for inclusion.
Congrats to everyone involved and thanks to Stu and Caroline.

Congratulations to all the winners! I’m very proud of this collection (the titles should give you a feel of the quirkiness within) and hope you all will be too.
It was so hard judging this competition and Stu has had to put up with my angst for weeks now. He has promised to turn up to any events dressed exactly like Sinitta did in XFactor last week… x

I’m raising a glass to us all right now (which makes typing just a little tricky). Cheers…

Congratulations to all the winners. Even though my story didn’t make it in I can’t wait to read the anthology when it comes out! If only to see the lovely Katie McCullough’s story in print! Sure that her story is in the most fabulous of company!
Now I hope that you are all taking TheDivineMrM’s lead & celebrating in style

I’m so delighted! This is the first time I’ve had any work published and it is a good feeling. I can’t wait to read all the other pieces, and hopefully meet all the writers too.
Thanks Stuart and Caroline- you’ve made my weekend, week, month, year.

I’m absolutely thrilled to have my story involved with this, my first time being published and to be alongside fellow newbies and/or known names!
Cannot thank the people involved enough. And a special shout out to Stephanie Ressort who gave me creative pushing/shoving/support spanning time zones
Well done everyone!

Very very excited to be included in this collection. I was literally dancing around the living room when I got the news. (fun for me, disconcerting for the neighbours). Can’t wait for it to come out!

I’m happy, bashful, dopey, sneezy and sleepy, but definitely not grumpy or… er… doc.
Thank you to Stuart and Caroline for including my very short story in the forthcoming book – what an absolute honour.
I hope it stands up well in the company of the other stories, which I can’t wait to read.
It’s the first time I’ve ever had any fiction published – hopefully not the last!

I too am thrilled to get into the anthology. Didn’t realise it had a cover and was coming out so soon! Really looking forward to it – I know a few of the names mentioned, but it’s always nice to discover new writers, particularly those making their debuts.
I’ve had a drink or two to celebrate & congrats to all.
