DIRTY LEEDS
ByThey got beat by Liverpool last night (I assume. Haven’t checked the results), their binmen are on strike… but tomorrow, Leeds has something to look forward to.
‘What’s that?’ I hear you say. Well, tomorrow is the release date of Dirty Leeds - the new novel by Robert Endeacott. Tomorrow night is the launch party at the Northern Monkey bar on Headrow, Leeds. Friday 25 – Robert will be at Waterstone’s Leeds signing copies of the book from 1pm.
I’m just finishing my cup of Yorkshire tea, my toasted Hovis, just had the whippet out for a run and am getting into the spirit of Yorkshireness ahead of the party! The book looks fantastic and I’m mad proud of it. Apart from how good it looks, the story is gathering much praise… a coming of age, set in the 60s story with the backdrop of (Dirty) Leeds United.
Robert will then be off on the other side – doing the Borders stores in Leeds and Birstall.
I love this stage of publication – the hard work is over and the harder work starts, but the PR side of that hard work is enjoyable. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone at the launch and signings, so get yourself along if you can make it.
Don’t forget – if you order Dirty Leeds on Thursday 24 from amazon, send your order confirmation my way and I’ll send you a limited edition A2 poster.

Hi – just wondered if you could give us any idea yet when the Even More Tonto Short Story results will be in? I don’t want to harass you, just curious as to when I should start torturing myself
